On Friday, Hackett Catholic Prep earned a 45-38 win over Glen Lake. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hackett Catholic Prep.
Glen Lake's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lydia Fosmore, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. The contest was Fosmore's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eleanor Valkner, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Hackett Catholic Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Glen Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hackett Catholic Prep will take on Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glen Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Elk Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
