The Waco Lions's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Teague 70-40 at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Waco's 20-point performance the game before.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jehmel Rice, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds. Tylin Randle was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Waco pushed their record up to 4-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Teague, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Waco will square off against Crandall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Crandall presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Waco in Texas (Crandall is ranked 212th, while Waco is ranked 1112th). Teague is on the road again on Friday and play against Braswell at 4:30 p.m. on December 8th. Braswell is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
