Miami Trace hasn't had much luck against Jackson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will welcome the Ironman/Ironladies at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Miami Trace 2.8, Jackson 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Miami Trace blew Chillicothe out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Chillicothe got their revenge. The Panthers fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 9-7.
Miami Trace got a good showing from Gage Henry, who tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. Henry has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Cooper Enochs was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Gage Bowers was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Meanwhile, Jackson put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on McClain with a sharp 12-2 win. The Ironman/Ironladies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Jackson secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Tristan Williams, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits Williams has posted since back in March.

Jackson pushed their record up to 16-0 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Miami Trace, their loss dropped their record down to 14-2.
Miami Trace might still be hurting after the 9-3 defeat they got from Jackson in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
