The Lamar Warriors can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. Everything went their way against Mayflower as Lamar made off with a 68-45 win. The victory was just what Lamar needed coming off of a 67-46 defeat in their prior matchup.
Lane Miller was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Noonan, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.
Lamar pushed their record up to 21-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Mayflower, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
Lamar will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on February 29th. Mayflower does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
