The East Lyme Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Morgan Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Monday, East Lyme got the win against Amistad by a conclusive 53-33. The win was just what East Lyme needed coming off of a 73-43 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Morgan put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 61-41 margin over Valley Regional. Winning may never get old, but Morgan sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
East Lyme has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Morgan, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
East Lyme was able to grind out a solid victory over Morgan in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 70-59. Does East Lyme have another victory up their sleeve, or will Morgan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
