Fort Wayne Canterbury is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over Fremont. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cavaliers.

JP Rohwer made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off nine hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 12 consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Parker Evans was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and two doubles. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reed Hayes, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Fort Wayne Canterbury was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .528. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Triton waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 14-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Drew Bingamon was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. Bingamon was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddox Dennie, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Ryder Goodman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Fort Wayne Canterbury's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Triton, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.
