Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Hiram Hornets walked away with it. They came out on top against Cambridge by a score of 31-24 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Hiram sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Kaden Hamilton was his usual excellent self, rushing for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Hamilton was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards.
Hiram's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Cambridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Hiram is on the road again on Friday and play against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Jefferson is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Cambridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
