The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tulare Union, who took down 201st ranked Mission Oak, 27-14. Romello Harris ran for 204 yards and caught two passes for one yards in the win.
The Redskins moved up to 320 from 359 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in East Yosemite. Tulare Union was able to make move up by beating the Hawks 27-14.
Perdro Aguirre was the best wideout in the league this week as Delano fell to Porterville. Aguirre racked up seven receptions for 115 yards. Fabian Villareal helped Delano's passing attack out by catching three balls for 18 yards.
Oscar Reyes put up the best numbers through the air as Darren Bennett's team beat Mission Oak. He finished with a total of 16 completions for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Reyes' favorite target this week was Jakob Stevens, who caught four passes for 54 yards.
Daniel Quiroz provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Tigers lost to the Panthers. He completed 13 passes for 158 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 52 yards.
Tulare Union's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Redskins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Reyes has thrown for 2529 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, while John Pimentel has 77 catches for 1106 yards. Harris leads the league in rushing with 724 yards.
A big matchup in East Yosemite this week will be when Porterville takes on Monache. At the moment, Carl Scudder's team is in second, while the Marauders are in third.
