Jordan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peter Bryan led the charge by scoring six points along with 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Wells, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Durham School of the Arts saw an underclassman step up: Darryn Johnson scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Johnson scored a full 51.3% of Durham School of the Arts' points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jadin Haynes was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
The victory got Jordan back to even at 4-4. As for Durham School of the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
