The Foundation Christian Academy Panthers suffered their biggest loss since November 28, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a tough 43-20 loss at the hands of Riverside Christian. Foundation Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-6.
Despite the loss, Foundation Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Maddie Rodriguez scored six points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Steffi Chilton, who scored six points.
This is the second loss in a row for Foundation Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Riverside Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-16.
Foundation Christian Academy on the road again on Monday and play against American Youth Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. American Youth Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Riverside Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Life Christian Academy at 9:00 a.m. on January 20th.
