Tabiona's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaidence Pippy led the charge by putting up ten points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maycee Rhoades, who posted 14 points and three steals.
Grand County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Tabiona, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Grand County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Gunnison Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Grand County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tabiona, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 73-17 victory against Salt Lake Academy on the 21st.
