Kelly's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sasha Arriaga-Morales, who scored six points along with five rebounds and five steals, and Natasha Soriano who scored 18 points along with eight steals. Soriano hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games.
Lindblom's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-11. As for Kelly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
Lindblom will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Kenwood at 5:00 p.m. Kenwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lindblom in Illinois (Kenwood is ranked 35th, while Lindblom is ranked 581st). As for Kelly, they will head out on the road to face off against Dyett at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
