The Klahowya Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Rivals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Klahowya focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Klahowya beat Seattle Christian 52-48.
Eli Kraft was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Grant Solvie was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] posted their closest win yet this season on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Seattle Christian 52-49. The victory was just what East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] needed coming off of a 81-59 defeat in their prior match.
Klahowya's record now sits at 6-7. As for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Klahowya lost to East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] on the road by a decisive 61-44 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Klahowya avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
