Softball Recap: Peachtree Academy Wins Going Away Against Lyndon Academy

Peachtree Academy had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-run drubbing they dealt Lyndon Academy on Monday. The Peachtree Academy Panthers blew past the Lyndon Academy Terriers 21-1. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The win got Peachtree Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Lyndon Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Peachtree Academy Panthers face off against Trinity Prep Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lyndon Academy, they will be playing at home against Skipstone Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
