The biggest upset of the week belonged to Marshall Christian Academy, who took down 192nd ranked Marshall Christian Academy, 68-36.
Caleb Beesinger and Caleb Young provided fans with a highlight when they connected against King's Academy. The longest such play in TCAL Division II - District 2 (6 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 51 yards.
Samuel Lastra was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 132 yards on 13 carries as the Guardians lost to the Knights. Teammate Joshua Young added to the ground attack by rushing for 19 yards.
Young was the best wideout in the league this week as Marshall Christian Academy lost to King's Academy. Young racked up three receptions for 65 yards. Lastra helped Marshall Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching five balls for 61 yards.
Nathan Beggs put up the best numbers through the air as Tyler HEAT defeated CHANT. He finished with a total of one completions for 22 yards and one touchdown. Beggs' favorite target this week was Isaiah Neidrauer, who caught one pass for 22 yards.
Marshall Christian Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Guardians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Lastra has thrown for 524 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Ben Whiting has 17 catches for 256 yards. Lastra also leads the league in rushing with 1171 yards.
Codolyous Wilson's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,163 from 1,226. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 68-36 victory over Guy Barr's team last week.
