Wakpala won the last time they faced Tiospaye Topa and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wakpala Sioux simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks 65-38. The Sioux have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season.

Tiospaye Topa's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacolby Rousseau, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Andrei Hojas, who had eight points.

The win made it two in a row for Wakpala and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Tiospaye Topa, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wakpala will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Timber Lake at 5:00 p.m. on January 6th. Tiospaye Topa will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Newell at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th.
