Oceanside has been on the road for two straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Del Norte Nighthawks  at 7:00  p.m. Oceanside will be strutting in after a  victory while Del Norte will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Last Friday, Oceanside didn't have too much breathing room in their  contest against Valley Center, but they still walked away with a  13-7 win. The 13-point effort marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring  matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 Oceanside's defense made their presence known, laying out   Braylon Mitchell. four times.  Ezaya Tokio was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three sacks himself. Those three  sacks set a new season-high mark for  him.

 Despite the  loss, Del Norte got top-tier performance from   Diesel Taylor, who threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chase Jurgens, who picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Oceanside has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record  this season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 34.9 points per game. As for Del Norte, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
