Baseball Recap: Nandua Has No Trouble Against Northampton

Nandua won the last time they faced Northampton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors blew past the Yellowjackets 15-6. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win got Nandua back to even at 6-6. As for Northampton, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nandua will head out to challenge Chincoteague at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ponies have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Northampton, they will head out on the road to face off against Arcadia at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
