Elijah Cox posted a new career-high in total tackles on Friday. He picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss). He has become a key player for Westlake: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least four total tackles, but 2-4 otherwise.

Coming up, Cox and Westlake will square off against East Coweta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are 7-1 against the Indians going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
