Thornton Fractional South waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bremen Braves. The Red Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Braves, too.

Thornton Fractional South easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12.

Nina Robinson paced Thornton Fractional South's offense, picking up seven kills. Robinson got some help from Earehc' Hill and her nine assists. Layla Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Thornton Fractional South's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bremen, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Thornton Fractional South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Plainfield South on the 30th. As for Bremen, they will challenge Joliet Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
