Jones has gone 6-1 against Von Steuben recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out to challenge the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Jones will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
While Jones didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over Prosser on Tuesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

Jones got a massive performance out of Jamilette Hernandez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three RBI. Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Paskiewicz, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Hernandez wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Jones lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Von Steuben was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 14-1 to Jones. The Panthers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
Von Steuben saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annayeli Blanco, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Jones' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Von Steuben, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Von Steuben's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Jones has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.7 hits per game. It's a different story for Von Steuben, though, as they've been averaging 10.2 hits. Given Jones' sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Jones took their win against Von Steuben when the teams last played on Monday by a conclusive 14-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
