The Taft Wildcats came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against McFarland by a score of 75-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Taft to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blaine Neudorf, who scored 32 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Neudorf is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last 13 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Phillips, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taft will face off against the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McFarland, they will head out on the road to square off against the Thunderbirds at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kennedy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
