University Park's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their ninth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 58-39 to Bay Path RVT. University Park was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bay Path RVT apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2018.
Peter Barbale continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bay Path RVT, scoring 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Vega, who scored 12 points.
University Park dropped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Bay Path RVT, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-7.
University Park will be playing in front of their home fans against Worcester Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bay Path RVT, they will head out on the road to face off against Montachusett RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Montachusett RVT's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
