Bishop Rosecrans has gone 8-1 against Miller recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. The Bishops will head out on the road to  face off against  the Falcons  at 5:15  p.m. Bishop Rosecrans is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game  this season.
Things were looking good for Bishop Rosecrans after they put the first  run on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Maysville by a score of  4-2. The Bishops' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Bishop Rosecrans saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Coen Grandstaff, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Miller). They blew past Harvest Prep 22-4 on Monday. The  victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three  games in a row.
 Bodey Dorsey and  Ryley Post made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound,  Dorsey   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Post   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (five). At the plate,  Dorsey  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Post  went a perfect 5-for-5 with three  stolen bases, six  RBI,  and four  runs. Miller is undefeated when  Dorsey posts two or  more  runs, but 5-7 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Bryce Dorsey was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. He is  on a roll when it comes to  hits, as he's  now  got three or more in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Logan Doughty, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Miller  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in four consecutive  matchups.
 Bishop Rosecrans' loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Miller, their record now sits at 9-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bishop Rosecrans has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.9  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Miller struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 5.3  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Bishop Rosecrans was able to grind out a solid  win over Miller in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, winning  8-5. Do  the Bishops have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
