South Plantation barely beat Northeast the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The South Plantation Paladins blew past the Northeast Hurricanes 13-3 on Wednesday. The Paladins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Benjamin Coffey looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
