Center can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Jasper Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Roughriders: when they faced off against the Bulldogs last Thursday, they had to take a 6-4 defeat.

Logan Horton made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he hit this season.

Horton wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cody Adkinson, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double was Adkinson's first of the season. TJ Belin was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Jasper, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Coming up, Center will take on Livingston in a tournament on Friday. As for Jasper, they will face off against Vidor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
