Vista Grande won the last time they faced Catalina Foothills and things went their way on Monday too. The Spartans blew past the Falcons 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Vista Grande got a massive performance out of Mia Hernandez, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that Hernandez has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Desani Baldenegro, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Vista Grande hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive games.

Vista Grande's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for Catalina Foothills, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Vista Grande wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-8 loss against Maricopa on the 15th. As for Catalina Foothills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 19-2 defeat against Casa Grande on the 17th.
