Suburban - Red recap December 3, 2013
Park Hill South was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Panthers came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Suburban - Red this week, Lee's Summit West beat Parkway Central 51-14. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Lee's Summit West's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Thomas Ganaden threw for 54 yards and Brenner Clemons had 21 yards receiving. On the ground Ryan Williams contributed 122 yards. Monte Harrison helped Lee's Summit West's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 14 yards.
Williams was a passing and rushing force as Royce Boehm's team beat the Colts.
Williams was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 122 yards on 11 carries as the Titans topped Parkway Central. Clemons also contributed to the rushing game with 90 yards on the ground.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Lee's Summit West's Ganaden and Harrison have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-5 quarterback Ganaden has thrown for 2,576 yards this season, while Harrison has 60 catches for 1,007 yards. Ronnie Bertelsmeyer from Park Hill South leads the league in rushing with 1,015 yards.
So far this year, he has acheived 54 catches for 961 yards.
In 126 carries Williams has accumulated 946 yard this year.
The Titans took down Mark Goldenberg's team 51-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Williams in the win.
