The Indian Springs COYOTES scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Big Bear 87-50 at home. That looming 87-50 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Indian Springs yet this season.
Big Bear's loss came despite strong showings from Aiden Brewer and Ryder Dolan. Brewer scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and five steals, while Dolan scored 21 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Brewer is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
The victory (which was Indian Springs' third in a row) raised their record to 5-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.7 points per game. As for Big Bear, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Springs will face off against Yucaipa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Yucaipa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday. Big Bear won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sultana at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Sultana has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
