Madison Senior scaled the state rankings by moving to 326 from 401 this week, the biggest jump in Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye. The Mohawks climbed the ranks as a result of besting Milton-Union 40-31.
Madison Senior made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,384 from 6,839. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 40-31 victory over the Bulldogs last week.
Preble Shawnee's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Joby Williams threw for 166 and 2 touchdowns and Trey Smith had 134 yards receiving. On the ground Matt Trantanella chipped in 163 yards. Corey Hooker helped Preble Shawnee's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 25 yards.
Williams put up the best numbers in passing as the Arrows lost to Waynesville. Williams' favorite target this week was Smith, who caught 9 passes for 134 yards.
Preble Shawnee's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Arrows feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 900 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Smith has 32 catches for 475 yards.
The Spartans are in first place, while Dixie is in sixth place.
Waynesville led the league in scoring this week by notching 66 points on Preble Shawnee.
