The Burroughs Bears lost against the Arcadia Apaches last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Burroughs took a 70-54 bruising from Arcadia. Burroughs has struggled against Arcadia recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Everhart, who scored ten points along with six blocks. Chase Kardosh was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arcadia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mansour Senneh, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noa Eteuati-Edwards, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Arcadia, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
Burroughs will be playing in front of their home fans against Pasadena at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Pasadena will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Arcadia, they will head out on the road to take on Burbank at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Burbank is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
