Baseball Recap: St. Bernard's Central Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Bernard's Central Catholic lost against Montachusett RVT back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bernardians came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-5.

Jonathan Quigley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Ethan Lewis also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

St. Bernard's Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Montachusett RVT, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-6.

Coming up, St. Bernard's Central Catholic will venture away from home to challenge Fitchburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montachusett RVT, they will welcome Greater Lowell Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
