The Central Christian Crusaders lost against Konos Academy back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Central Christian took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Konos Academy. Central Christian has struggled against Konos Academy recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Central Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Clark, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. Clark is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Natalie Schneider, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
Central Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Konos Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lafayette Christian at 5:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Konos Academy, they will face off against Springwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
