The North Ridgeville Rangers had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They really took it to Midview for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-37 victory at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory North Ridgeville has managed all season.
It was another big night for Grace Kingery, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Kingery is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Brooke Lime was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six assists and five rebounds.
North Ridgeville's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Midview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
North Ridgeville will head out on the road to take on Lakewood at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Lakewood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 361st, while North Ridgeville is ranked 48th). As for Midview, they will be playing at home against Avon at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Avon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Wednesday.
