Eureka hasn't had much luck against Fortuna recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Loggers will look to defend their home field against the Huskies at 11:00 a.m. This will be Eureka's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Mackenze Wolff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits.
On the hitting side, Bailey Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Meanwhile, Fortuna put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with an 8-4 win over Windsor.
Isabel Sanchez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Evalynn Little was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Hailee Thompson, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Fortuna kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive games.
Fortuna's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Eureka, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
