Heartland I recap September 4, 2013
Weston Baylor and Evan Tanner provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Milton. The longest such play in Heartland I this season, the connection resulted in 60 yards.
Jersey Shore's Utoa Agae-naipo recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Troy last week. Agae-naipo scampered for 53 yards on the play and finished with 94 on the day as his team lost to the Trojans.
Mifflinburg's dynamic duo of Jordan Wagner and Tristan Martin proved to be unstoppable against Selinsgrove, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wagner threw for 181 yards and Martin had 63 yards receiving. Logan Finsterbush helped Mifflinburg's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 55 yards.
The Wildcats' dynamic duo of Wagner and Martin proved tough for the Seals to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Sam Dressler was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 143 yards on 24 carries as Danville fell to Selinsgrove. Isaiah Croll also contributed to the rushing game with 108 yards on the ground.
Martin was the best receiver in Heartland I this week as Jason Dressler's team lost to Dave Hess' team.
Brody Smith was a key player and the best on defense this week as Jersey Shore lost to Troy. The 6-foot-1 junior.
Wagner put up the best numbers through the air as the Wildcats fell to the Seals.

The Wildcats are currently in sixth, while Shikellamy is in third.
Danville was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to second in the league. Earlier in the week, Jim Keiser's team triumphed over the Black Panthers 41-0.
