Haskell had won two straight road games and Haegen Pinkerton did his part to make it three on Friday. The Indians blew past the Archer City Wildcats 44-18 for which the team can thank Pinkerton, who rushed for 262 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Haskell's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 4-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Ethan Camaco was another key player, rushing for 125 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Haskell's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Archer City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Haskell will host Windthorst at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for Archer City, they will face off against Electra at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
