This season hasn't been kind to the Victory Baptist Academy Patriots, who are still winless after their fourth match. They took a serious blow against West Florida Baptist Academy on Thursday, falling 65-19.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Florida Baptist Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makenna Enfinger, who scored 18 points along with five assists and three steals. Enfinger hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Johnson, who scored nine points along with six assists and four steals.
Victory Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Victory Baptist Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Hendersonville Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. West Florida Baptist Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Christian Community at 2:20 p.m. on January 12th. Christian Community is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
