The Southeast Pirates lost against the Crestwood Red Devils back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Southeast took a 44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. Southeast has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Hannah Ward was her usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with four steals and two blocks for Crestwood. Ward hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Livia Martini, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Southeast has not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Crestwood, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast will take on the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crestwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ravens at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
