The Pickens Academy Pirates lost against the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pickens Academy was dealt a 52-25 loss at the hands of Tuscaloosa Home Educators. Pickens Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tuscaloosa Home Educators' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jackson Sodergren led the charge by scoring 14 points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Streetman, who scored 13 points.
Pickens Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Pickens Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tuscaloosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Restoration Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
