Kellenberg Memorial and Holy Trinity are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds will head out on the road to take on the Holy Trinity Titans at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Kellenberg Memorial is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Back in January, Kellenberg Memorial lost to St. Anthony's on the road by a decisive 50-34 margin.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 78-23, which was the final score in Holy Trinity's tilt against St. Mary's on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Holy Trinity has scored all season.
Holy Trinity's loss came about despite a quality game from Maya Logie, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Logie is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played.
Kellenberg Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Holy Trinity, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
Kellenberg Memorial strolled past Holy Trinity in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 69-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kellenberg Memorial since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
