Seneca Valley was led to victory by Jayden Addison and Brielle Watson. Addison scored 15 points along with 8 steals and 6 rebounds, while Watson scored 22 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mina Hashemzadeh, who scored 7 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals.
Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Seneca Valley, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy will challenge Walter Johnson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Seneca Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Springbrook at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
