Even though the Avon Orioles have not done well against the Brownsburg Bulldogs recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Avon managed a 62-58 win over Brownsburg. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

That makes it three consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least 25% of Avon's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joyce Smiley, who scored six points.
Avon's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Brownsburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
