The Elba Bluejays lost against the Palmer Tigers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Elba took a 38-23 bruising from the Tigers. Elba has not had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Elba saw an underclassman step up: Addison Wysocki dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Wysocki is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played.
Elba has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Palmer, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.
Elba will head out on the road to face off against the Red Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmer, they will be playing at home against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Hampton is ranked 269th, while the Tigers are ranked 261st).
