After flying high against Northbrook last Friday, Cypress Ridge came back down to earth. The Cypress Ridge Rams took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jersey Village Falcons on Tuesday. Jersey Village found their leader in sophomore Xavier Williams, who went 6 for 8 en route to 13 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Jones, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.
Cypress Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Jersey Village, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-18 record.
Cypress Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jersey Village, they will face off against Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
