In what's become a running theme this season, the Anna Coyotes gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Celina with a sharp 66-43 victory. The win was familiar territory for Anna who now have ten in a row.
Ayonna Cooper continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Karleigh Redwine, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Anna is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Celina, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anna will take on the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Panther Creek presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Coyotes in Texas (the Panthers are ranked 140th, while the Coyotes are ranked 311th). As for Celina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chaparrals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Aubrey is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
