The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Northampton at home to the tune of 43-16. That 43-16 margin sets a new team best for King & Queen Central this season.
When it comes to explaining why Northampton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ortavia Rogers. Despite the final result, she scored ten points. Rogers scored a full 62.5% of Northampton's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win got King & Queen Central back to even at 3-3. As for Northampton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King & Queen Central has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Essex at 6:15 p.m. on January 8th. Essex is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Northampton and Norfolk Academy will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
