The Mansfield Tigers won the last time they faced the Wyalusing Valley Rams, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Mansfield managed a 47-42 victory over Wyalusing Valley. Given Mansfield's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while Wyalusing Valley is ranked 667th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Karson Dominick, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Dominick is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Harer, who scored 14 points.
The victory made it two in a row for Mansfield and bumps their season record up to 14-6. As for Wyalusing Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-16.
Mansfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-46 victory vs. Athens on the 8th. Wyalusing Valley will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Sullivan County at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th.
