The Point Pleasant Big Blacks won the last time they faced the Fort Frye Cadets, and things went their way on Friday too. Point Pleasant took down Fort Frye 58-39. The win made it back-to-back wins for Point Pleasant.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Point Pleasant to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carrsen Lambert, who scored seven points along with two steals. Grayson Tucker was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
The victory got Point Pleasant back to even at 5-5. As for Fort Frye, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
Point Pleasant will be playing in front of their home fans against Gallia Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Frye will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Warren at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th.
