Meanwhile, San Leandro's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They lost to Piedmont at home by a decisive 57-38 margin.
Bishop O'Dowd has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for San Leandro, they dropped their record down to 3-21 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.
